choledocholithiasis.

I've just spent the last six-seven hours poring over the workings of our digestive systems and the myriad of disorders we can be graced with in our mouths, esophagi, livers, gallbladders, pancreases, stomachs, small and large intestines, rectums and anuses.

I would share some of the things I learned today about fissures, fistulas, polyps, ulcers, dysentery, Crohn's disease, tooth decay, IBS, GERD, oral leukoplakia, cirrhosis of the liver, hepatitis A, B & C, constipation, diarrhea, intussusception, volvulus, malabsorption syndrome, esophageal varices, adeno- and gastric carcinomas, achlasia, melena, as well as the workings of mechanical and chemical digestion, but I have to go make dinner and think about it while I'm eating.

Oh, and choledocholithiasis is gallstones within the common bile duct.
(choledoch/o = common bile dict; lith/o = stone; -iasis = abnormal condition)
