Went to my favorite mexican place tonight. It was packed - there was a wait.
As we walked in to put our name on the list there was a group of four being called to their table. They were laughing and smiling, carrying their empty margarita glasses.
When we were finally seated about 30 minutes later, they were in the booth ahead of us...ordering their third round (at least) of margaritas. Shortly thereafter their food arrived...which they proceeded to then pray over. Which is fine, whatever, there's certainly nothing wrong with being thankful for food. Expecially mexican food!
But it just made me wonder...why not pray for the margaritas? I certainly would...if I were the praying kind.
Man, and they make the best frozen margaritas there...

Thank you god, for the frozen margarita I was about to receive...an hour ago. It was delicious.

I am not a praying man but if I believed in god, I would thank him for gin and tonic on a hot day...
Amen.
I was just talking about gin with a friend of ours.
Hello, Charles. :)
